Decebalus Rex

This massive sculpture can be found on Danube’s shore, somewhere in Eastern Europe (Romania). It represents the mighty king Decebal of the ancient inhabitants. Decebal (or Decebalus) was the one who fought against the Roman Empire governed by Trajan Emperor. Decebalus lost the final war in 106 AD and had committed suicide before Romans reached him.
